2010 Training Schedule
                                Patrol and Detention Division's

June

The subject will be Pursuits, STOP WILL BE COVERED. This class will be on June 22th and/or 24th from 1pm until 5pm in the training building at the Crisp County Sheriff's Office. The instructor for this class will be Major Ken Partain.

***July***

***Firearms Qualification will the the week of July 19th thru the 23rd.***

***August***

The subject will be Report Writing. This class will be on the 17th and/or 19th from 1pm until 5pm in the training building at the Crisp County Sheriff's Office. The instructor for this class will be Captain Denise Youngblood.

***September***

The subject will be Courtroom Testimony and Demeanor. This class will be on the 14th and/or 16th from 1pm to 5pm at the new court house. The instructor's will be Cheri Nichols from the D.A.'s Office, Rusty Wright and Cheif Superior Court Judge John Pridgen.

October

The subject will be Missing, Abducted, Endangered Child or Adult. This class will be on the 12th and/or 14th from 1pm to 5pm in the training building at The Crisp County Sheriff's Office. The instructor wil be Captian Denise Youngblood.

Below is a list of training classes that is offered by our office that is readly availeble to anyone. All of the classes that we offer are taught by P.O.S.T. certified instructors. If you attened one of the classes you will be eligible for credit through P.O.S.T.

The Training Division staff is committed to providing the finest basic, in-service, advanced, and specialized "Law Enforcement Training" to all employees of the Sheriff's Office and to numerous other city, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies .
