Criminal Investigations Division   Revised 01/16/2008

The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is led by Captain Denise Youngblood.  She has been in law enforcement for 18 years.

While most of Captain Youngblood's law enforcement career has been in Crisp County, she has also served with the Georgia

Bureau of Investigation and the Berrien County Sheriff's Office.  Captain Youngblood is a much-appreciated asset and

well-respected instructor and investigator throughout the region and the state.

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) has seven highly trained Investigators working felony and misdemeanor

cases. Investigators receive intensive advanced training in various areas such as crime scene investigations, child abuse and

domestic violence, interviews, and identity theft investigations; just to name a few.

Any of these investigators can be reached by calling the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office. If the investigator you are looking for is

not available, leave a message and they will be glad to return your call.
