CHAMPS 2015 Crisp Academy Graduates.  Sheriff Hancock, SFC Trooper Jon Posey, Sgt. Harry Fox, Deputy T.J. Griffin and guest speaker Bobby Ryals congratulate each graduate.

Sheriff Hancock and guest speaker Donna Stripling congratulate our recent 2015 CHAMP Graduates. Champs is a program that sheriff Hancock offers to 5th graders county wide. The program is taught by certified law enforcement officers that have attended a two week mandatory training course offered through the Georgia Sheriff's Association. It's acronym stands for Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety. We appreciate our school system allowing us the opportunity to have a positive influence on our future leaders.

This year’s CHAMP program was a huge success with a wonderful graduation ceremony today.

I want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to the excellent teachers of Crisp County for allowing deputies into your classroom so that we can have time with the students to talk about the choices they have in life.
Thank you also Donna Stripling for delivering a very inspiring keynote and address and to the CCHS VIBE for a beautiful performance of the National Anthem.

Together we all are making a difference in the lives of these students. They are the future of Crisp County!
